This is a tale of everlasting love that started out as one chapter short story, which was designed to be a symbolic goodbye to our favorite couple. When Marlena saw and heard John in the church praying, she made a decision to give him up, believing that it was for the best. That defining moment was what prompted me to write a goodbye scene. However, being the avowed and devoted John and Marlena fan that I am, I found that I just wasn't able to leave it at that. As a result, it turned into a long story about love and forgiveness, fun and romance, danger and deception, and most of all about the dream they secretly shared with all of us, the dream of never having to say....
