What is a montage you say?
Well, it is a concept that involves presenting a number of images to convey some sort of composite picture. With song lyrics and prose, these short pieces present various images of the love and friendship bond that exists between John and Marlena. Some will be fun and playful, some will be fraught with the angst of love gone awry or unfulfilled. Some will be serious, full of the pain and loss life sometimes brings, and some will be sexy and romantic, but all of them focus on John and Marlena and the love that exists between them. In all circumstances, whether together or apart, in joy or in sorrow... their love remains... Enjoy these visions and sing along if you want to.. I won't mind a bit.
As short stories go... most all of the ones I will include in this collection, also rely on song lyrics to assist in illustrating the ideas presented.
